1890 Issues

In 1890 a large definitive set of thirteen values in two designs was issued.

A very wide range of different perforations was used; SG lumps six of these together under the same catalogue number (and value), while a further 5 are available for most values. In addition a variety of compound perforations were issued at the request of an Austrian stamp dealer!

A granite paper was used without watermark.
