Newspaper Stamps

As the name suggests, these stamps were used to pay the postage on newspapers sent through the mail.

First Issue 1851-6

The first issue has no denomination, and all genuine copies are scarce to very rare. Reprints in brighter colours were made between 1866 to 1904, and these are almost certainly examples of such reprints.
